 Grower of Gravel

Howdy Folks, July 16th is coming up quick. Plan on being at the Tombstone Livery by 8 a.m. for sign-up and the shooters meeting will start at 9 a.m. It will be HOT so bring lots to drink. Adult beverages can only be consumed after the match.

Doc Kendrick is the match director this month so expect anything.

Most folks heard it was going to be June in Arizona last month and they rightfully escaped to cooler climes. The rest of us toughed it out in Tombstone and we had a great time despite the heat. Buckeye Pete was somewhat evasive as to who wrote the stages for June, but I must admit they were the best “Hot Weather” stages I have shot in years. Some of you may think my biased report may have something to do with me shooting the match clean. Well, without any misses. And, due to the fact that I have not done that in a couple of years and my Rugers made it through the match (a rare occurrence this year with this pair) you would be correct.

I will not be able to make it to the match this month. I got some “pet rocks” that need to hatch and they are being rather ornery about it this go. So, for those of you that will be there, have an extra helping of fun for me. Stay cool, drink lots of water, be safe, and, most of all, HAVE FUN.
